Hi, I'm Tiffany W. Womack
I'm a former journalist turned communications professional and content creator currently living in Asheville, NC.
Tapping into a background in television news, public relations, and social science knowledge gained while earning a master's degree in communication management, I offer a unique perspective when providing communications support and strategy. As a multimedia journalist, I worked as a one-person band, shooting, writing, and editing all of my own stories on a daily deadline. As a public relations specialist, I covered more than 15 academic departments. I learned a little bit about a lot of things. I made ground-breaking research in everything from exercise science to digital forensics easy to digest for general audiences. I worked with local and national media daily to share these stories.
My videography skills (and the ability to take a decent photo every now and then) make me a utility player with the ability to curate and create content that resonates with audiences across all platforms. I am currently working to build on the traditional broadcast shooting and editing techniques I picked up while working as a "one-person band," to establish a more cinematic, creative style. In my current role as Creative Director at Humanity Communications Collective, I oversee the creation of digital assets for clients, lead the Creative Team, and provide social media management, videography, and strategic communications support.
Above all else, I find so much joy in the work that I do. It takes me outdoors and allows me to explore. It allows me to be around incredible human beings, who are all working in their respective areas to help make the world better for others.
Somehow, I have managed to find work that aligns with my passions, and therefore, it doesn't feel like work.
